He charges that Hodgdon must not have taken notice of the contract in which Ford agreed to deliver the stores to New York or to some place on Staten Island Sound. He will deliver to Elizabeth Town and from there to Fort Jay on Governors Island but the United States must pay the freight. He will need to engage wagoners for that purpose.
