I certify that there is due to James Postlethwait the sum of sixty five dollars & fifteen Cents, being the amount of his account for sundry Medicines & attendance furnished the Recruits under the command of Capt. Ashman at Transburg in the state of Pennsylvania from the 3rd June 1799 to 10 Mar. 1800 agreeably to the Report of Doctr Gillaspy & Strong, which sum is to be paid to Doctr David Jackson by order of said Doctr Postlethwait —
