The enclosed statement will answer the questions stated by you relative to one Mr Drummond in your letter dated the [undecipherable] if you will therein perceive that the amount of monies received by him is Dols 1462 45/100 that the amount of receipts admitted is Drs [undecipherable] that the amount of receipts not admitted is Drs 921 [undecipherable] — that Statement will shew the amount of each months pay he received for the Troops to which he was appointed Pay master — I am not in possession of any information from Accounts on the subject, rather can I add any to the Statement enclosed — it will be understood that Mr Drummond has received other monies with which he stands charged on the books of this office —
