The enclosed Statement will answer the questions stated by you relative to Mr [undecipherable] in your letter dated [the] 15th. You will thereby perceive that the amount of monies received by him is Dolls 11628.32/100. that the amount of receipts admitted is Dolls 4954.64/100 — that the amount of receipts not admitted is Dolls 3281.[undecipherable]/100, and that [further] will shew the amount of each monthly [pay] he received for the Troops to which he was appointed Pay Master. — I am not in possession of any information from [undecipherable] on the Subject, neither can I add any to the Statement [made].
