I have drawn on you this day in favour of Samuel Chew Hall payable to him or order after ten days Sight for one thousand doll[ars] it being for value received of him in Speci[e] an[d] is to be appropriated to the paying the Regular troops under Lieut Col Butler in Tennessee January February and March and having placed the Same to the Credit of the Treasure[r] request due honor thereto
