Accountants Office March 31st 1800 I certify that there is due to Arden HIll late Private in the 2nd Regt of Infantry the sum of Forty five dollars & 6/100 being for his from 1 Oct 1798 to 13 February 1799 the day of his death per abstract [undecipherable] 2394, & for sundry articles of Clothing agreeably to the Certificate of Lieutt Nanning I Vischer which sum is payable to Jonr Brace, Attorney for Elise Case administrator to the Estate of said Arden Hill.
