[Received / from / [undecipherable] De[pt] / 39[undecipherable]] Pittsburg 28 March 1800. Sir I have received your letters of the 15 & 22^d inst — the former covering Capt. Armstrongs receipt for Land Warrant, with your favourable remarks thereon — The latter, accompanied by a letter for Capt Ernest, which I have an opportunity of sending forward immediately. The Quarter Master General has agreed to take up the Armourers accounts, I have therefore to request you, to take the trouble of returning them to me. Inclosed you will find Abstracts of Stores received, manufactured & purchased at this post during April May & June 1798. together with Stores issued & forwarded during that period — These Abstracts should have been accompanied by the relative Vouchers — Were it not that some Invoices remain yet to be copied, which shall be done & transmitted by next post — And I have now to observe that Abstracts, accompanied by the relative Vouchers of Issues &^ca for six months of 1797 and three months of 1798, were transmitted to you on the 24 May 1798 — and your letter of the 1^st June acknowledges the receipt of them & says they appear to be those wanted.
