R.P.O. 401310.] Wanted for the Dey and Ministry, with the commission for Timber on the annuities as viz: to land and pave the way for said Timber to turn out at Algiers to the advantage of the United States. 24 pieces of the finest India Muslin, 12 pieces of India Dimity, 20 pieces of Irish Linnen— 100 pieces of Nankeen, 12 but. of the best green Coffee— 46 loaves of Refined Sugar, 10 but. of the best Black Pepper, 12 Sets of China Dishes, Plates & Bowls, } with flowers, red, 12 Sets whole of Tea & Coffee Cups & Saucers— } blue and Green.— 6 best English Spy Glasses— 40 Dollars each, 10 Red Birds & Cages— 4 Squirrels & Cages— 8 the finest Shawls— 2 do. of Silk— 5 logs of Mahogany— 20 Boards of do— A Lion, a Ramping main, no beard— 100 Barrels of Rosin for the Dey, as p: demand of the 25^th March— And all the commission articles wrote for last year for the Dey are to be directed for O'Brien at Algiers— These abovementioned articles should be attended to, if not I shall have no friends to aid me on the business— (Signed) Richard O'Brien— Algiers, March 25^th 1800.— This Copy given to Captain Smith in order that the business so essential should not be forgot or curtailed, but forwarded— Also, the 400 yards of Cloth agreeable to the note given by O'Brien to Mr Carr, to hand to the Secretary of State.
