Document 1800After submitting a return of clothing due Captain Kalteisen, Freeman inquired as to the particular modes required for transmitting returns. Since he has not had a reply, he is unable to answer the men's inquiries respecting their clothing. He congratulates Hodgdon on the birth of his daughter but advises that he and his wife are unable to do likewise since they may be removed from St. Croix to St. Marys. If they were fixed to one spot, maybe they could do better.
