Sir March 14^th 1800 Your letter of the 18 Ult^o came duly to hand covering two vouchers for rations & bounties master Stores furnished the Garrisons of Fort Johnston in October, the amount of which was deducted on a Settlement made the 22 January last for want of the Certificates which you have now produced, and one for Hospital Stores furnished in December 1799 amounting of your account to four hundred thirty nine dollars & 7/100 which is found to be correct — You will therefore receive that sum from Griffith J M^c Re, Cashier, Wilmington upon producing him this necessary Receipt — Sam^l R.
