Records at Nernal from September to 31 December 1799 amounting of
your Statement to Drs 41.16 has been committed to the following decidu —

Errors in Charging to quite [undecipherable] 10°
The same facts being [undecipherable] in lieu of 3 Birds of [undecipherable] consumption
because the Secy of State has directed that the regulations for
distributing Birds are mainly Inventory as to the quantity that
may be allowed when absolutely necessary & cannot be construed
& are not intended to give an entitlement to Officers for any
Birds they have not earned by long since no furlough whether
on Service, or from any other cause whatsoever.
I have therefore deducted the 8 dollars to the amount Hereon — 6.16
Leaving a balance in your favor of 1 Dollars 34 91
which sum you will receive from the Paymt Accountants Office at
New London upon your granting the necessary receipt —
