I observe that the absence of Gen^t Hamilton prevents your furnishing the information required by my letter of the 29 Ult^o respecting the clothing lately recd for the Artillery troops New York. but which you recmt on his return to your city. In the mean time I must call your attention to the subject of the Overalls supplied by our Issuing duties to the Company believing the objections to the balance of your accounts for the same still existing.
