This morning I finished examining M^r Stiles's Vouchers to the amount of fifty eight thousand four hundred Dollars, and where so very Accurate, they shall be sent down in the Return of M^r Herbert whom I am every hour expecting, with Sir Beams an perfect Account. & M^r Stiles will enclose No. And forward this Report direct to Mess. M^r Stiles's And Vouchers for my expenditures in the Sub War Department, and the Contingent expence to the 31^st December 1799; Amounting to Eight thousand Nine Hundred Seventy four dollars and fifty five Cents. — I shall now soon have the the Whole of my Account forwarded to the close of the last Quarter. — I am respectfully [Hardin forward?] David Henley Agent of War William Irvine Esquire
