Henry Lee                                Accountants Office in Congress                                     February 4^th 1800 Sir A number of accounts have been transfered from the Treasury Department to this Office for settlement on which is included a debt standing against you amounting to One thousand seven hundred [undecipherable] thirty dollars [undecipherable] for [undecipherable] in [undecipherable] Treasury Statement as [undecipherable] — For this amount unaccounted for in Treasury Statement No 7327                           D^rs 2141.79 For this sum from [undecipherable] [undecipherable] pay Burrol of sum Army of Report[s] ........... 1867 and deducted ............... 418.46                                         D^rs 1723.32 It having in consequence become my duty to call upon to settle the accounts of the persons or rather I have to request your attention to the meaning as soon as convenient falls to sufficient vouchers for the expenditure of that money accounting for the same, by refunding this amount to the Treasurer of the United States —                                                                    [initials] Capt.
