With respect to a rule for judging of his expenditures, I can think of no better one, than that laid down in my letter to you dated the 21 November ultimo, relative to expenditures by Isaac Williams Indian Interpreter and temporary Deputy Superintendant in the North Western Territory made in the execution of his trusts.
