I now enclose the Monthly Returns for the issues of Quarter Masters Stores for the Month of December, and also a Copy of my Register of Persons licensed to trade in the Indian Nations from the 1st January to the 31. December 1799.
I also enclose a proclamation of William A. Bowles (who signs himself Director General of Muskegee) as sent to me by Colonel Hawkins. The paper was sent open, but by a letter from Colo Hawkins to Major Lewis, he writes he has forwarded to the Secretary of War important Information which I hope has safe arrived.
