the Packages are at Mr McDaniells Store, at
no greater expence than they would Any Where else
The Invoice I forwda Colo Hall & requested He
would have receipts put on & by his proper
officers, He returned it Saying, Mr Baches The
Contractor would Sign the recpts, when Application
was made to Mr Bacher He refused observing it was
at no time his Business, add to which his Contract
was all but expired, The Regiment & its removal to
Harpers Ferry, would You wish me to follow up
for receipts to indemnifye myself for [undecipherable] expend
