Document 1799While he was quartermaster at Niagara, McClallen purchased one horse from Mr. Clinch at that place and one from Doctor Coffin at Oswego. He does not recollect either transaction but if the bills were in favor of Dr. Coffin , the vouchers for the delivery should be available from Oswego. The other horse should be included in the quartermaster's return from Niagara.
