I purchased two Horses, when I was Q^r master at Niagara, the one from M^r Clench for that Garrison, the other from Doctor Coffin for Garrison at Oswego— I have slight recollection of either transaction, but if the Bills were in favor of Doctor Coffin, you can easily obtain the voucher for the delivery of the Horse to Lieut: [undecipherable] who was then Commanding Officer at Oswego.
