I have received your favor of 20th Inst. inclosing a return of Sundries to be furnished by me for Majr [undecipherable] Nos which I shall take immediate measures to compleat —
In answer to your favor of 19th Inst. I would observe, that [strikethrough: Mr [undecipherable]] McLean has been to [undecipherable] Hope Furnace [undecipherable] selected such Shot, as would pass Inspection, but it appears there is not sufficient quantity to be found, to complete the order and therefore shall be under [undecipherable] in making up the deficiency [undecipherable] some in this city, without [undecipherable] receive direction to the contrary — The Shot received from Elizt Town, (say 24 Pounds) I have put on board the Ship [undecipherable] — I am not able to inform you an acct of the Quantity of Shot [undecipherable] from Mr Hope, as Mr McLean is sick, and unable to give me a particular Statemt of the Same, but will forward
a Statement thereof, as soon as I can obtain it from him, which I hope will be on Monday next —
There are numbers of Vessels going to Savannah, on board of which I can at any time, put what Clothing you send, and would advise you to forward it immediately
