The amount alluded to in your letter of the 13th Ulto last with my Cer=tificate at foot in conformity with your request I now have the pleasure to enclose — The Trucks being to be furnished by the United States, as men=tioned by the Secy ofwar in his letter of the 30th October 1795 will occasion a deduction off the price of the Car=riages, from my first agreement with Mr Blount, and as the Value of them are not known to us the account is left open for the reception of that Credit and then to be balanced by yourself
Your will be so good when the balance is ascertained as to inform me the amount that Mr Blount may draw for [strikethrough: the] which he supposes he wiles be permitted to do agreeably to the Secy of wars letter to me of the 30 Octo 1795. I am very respectfully
