Document 1799Following a reference to a shipment of military stores to Governors Island, Stevens notes that the Secretary of the Treasury has ordered that he should be awarded a commission for purchasing ten stand of powder. He should be awarded the same commission as Mr. Delafield who made a similar purchase. It appears that the box of arms from Springfield has arrived in Philadelphia.
