I have received your letter dated the 13 Ulto — The Acct. burest which I promised to give & which you returned having, having accused me of the sums of two hundred Dollars therein charged continues as accounts of that nature do all that moves with which you were chargeable on the Books of this Office at the time of stating it. I directed the whole amount of furnishing & other monies to be charged to you, and your account does on my books as all future army acct. (advances on account of them) were received to the reason, & applied by the pay master General to whom & if you are in want of funds application must be made —
