Referring to my letter of the 10 Instant, I have now to inform you that your accounts for October Ulto have been examined, & after deducting Ten dollars from Voucher No 16 being an error in the calculation of the pay of William Ferguson, Mechanic, the sum of Do 1332. 96 has been passed to your credit.
The balance due on your accounts for october last, was on the 8 Instant transmitted to you by the Treasurer of the United States as also Do 1966— on the 18th Instt on account; There sums appear to the abovementioned credit, [leaves?] a balance in your hands on this settlement of one hundred seventy four Dollars & [undecipherable], which you have charged on the Books of this Office —
