Sir
I have drawn on you this day in fav[or of] John McHooker or order the United States Facto[ry] at Tellico, for One thousand Five Hundred Doll[ars] Payable after ten days sight. Which Money will be appropriated to the paying the Army un[der] Lut Colonel Butler in Tennessee, for the 6 Months of October November & December. Mr Hooker has used this Bill to make Remittance and to Secure the money.
Having post[ed] this Above Bill to the Credit of the Treasurer request Your honouring the same.
