Your accounts &vouchers for supplies to the
mil: & engr & stationed at Post Johnston in July, Augt 1799
have been examined & the sum of Dlls 34. 93½ deducted therefrom
for causes mentioned in the annexed statement. The balance
in your favor is of course reduced to 636 dolls 62 ¢s
which sum you will receive from Griffith & McRea
upon your granting them the necessary rect.
In making out your future Abstracts it will
be necessary for you to be more particular in expressing
the several Items composing the vouchers to which you may
refer.
