I am [strikethrough: under the nece-]=sity of asking you to remit me fifteen hund= or= =red, Two thousand dollars — I wish it to be in the Bank Bills, or bills on the Custom house at New Haven — as those I had on New London put me to the Expense of sending for the money — Three thousand Cartouch Boxes and belts have long since been com=pleat — One thousand P^s. there are also fini=shed & delivered — The Certificates of inspection with the receipts for the money, shall accom=ny my acct. more men are making agrea=bly to your directions of the 20^th of Aug^t — & when furnished & completed shall be put in store — with the Cartouch boxes & belts put in Cases & Boxes — My health is so bad that I must decline all business if you have any to be executed here my bro.
