Estimate for money wanted in the Quarter
Master Department which amounts to [undecipherable]
thousand One hundred and thirty seven doll[undecipherable]
and for which amount, I have lately been drawing
upon you, besides this sum a further supply of
Money is wanted for Nails called for in this Department.
Not having been furnished with
the laws of the United States generally since
those of the 3d Congress, or those of the Year
1795, I have to request they may be sent to me
from that period, and the late treaty with
the Cherokees as soon as may be.
This State is in perfect tranquil-
ity, and good order prevails throughout. —
