Dr Sir
I received yours of the 25t of last month yesterday. — the letter for Deberger has been delivered to him. he just now told me he wrote to his wife a few days ago. at present he is sick i the hospital but not confined. I believe he has only a cold.
The clothing will be very acceptable as most of the men are in want. I wish you would inform me to whom the returns are to be transmitted and at what time, in order, then I. may make application in proper Season — I lately made a general return of all the Ordnence & Stores under my orders. this I [undecipherable] to General Pinckney to assist him in the application he may make for Supplies.
