In taking act in future for monies forwarded from this Department, I have to request that you will recur there as set forth in my letter of advice, when for a Ration, to state it in the receipt so for any other purpose, as set forth on the letter accompanying the remittance. I will also wish in forwarding the receipt that you would mention in your letter the particulars thereof; as the receipt accompanys the account to the Treasry Department, and the letter is the only document that is on file at this Office, which will show the receipt having been forwarded.
