"for I have rec^d a further Voucher for payments made by that Officer for seven dollars and eighty seven Cents, which has been posted to his credit on the Books of this Office, leaving a Ballance now Standing against him of Dolls 51 N, you will of course make the necessary deduction of his Pay in order to balance that amount — I am &^c W.
