O Swan Esq^r P. m G Accountants Office October 12^th 1799 Your letter of this date, transmitting an abstract of your payments from 6 January 1793 to July 1799 with the Warrants and pay & Muster Rolls as named therein received & will in course meet an examination I am &^c W S Capⁿ Russell Bissell Middletown C^t Accountants Office October 12. 1799 Sir I have rec^d your letter dated the 26^th Ult^o enclosing Muster & Pay Rolls of the Recruits under your Command from 1 July to 30 Septem^r — the Pay master having opened an Office in this Place & it being his duty on the 1^st Instant to receive for examination all Army accounts — the Rolls were accordingly referred to that Office & he will direct the necessary steps for the payment I am &^c W S William Crafts Esq^r Agent of Fortifications Charleston S.
