Sir Being about to take up for examination and final settlement the accounts of James O'Hara Contractor for supplying the Army with provisions it is necessary that I should be furnished with all the charges proper to be brought to his debit in the Statement of his accounts I have therefore to request that you will furnish me with an account of the different sums or more be chargeable with in the Quarter master Generals accounts either for transportation, articles furnished by the Public or other supplies which may have come within your notice, as the Statement of his account will remain unfinished until the abstract of charges is received from you.
