Accountants Office Septem^r 28^th 1799 Sir I have received your letter of the 20 Instant enclosing 3 Receipts for rations bounty fees to Sundburn, February to May, amounting to 12 dollars which will be placed to the credit of your account — the balance still remaining unexplained in your hands is 81 bank, which sum the Pay master General will be directed to deduct from your next pay roll on — I am &^c W.S. James O Harra Esq^r Accountants Office September 30^th 1799 Sir Being about to take up for examination and final settlement your accounts as Contractor lodged in this Office, I have to request that you will furnish me with an exact and clear stating the monies you have received, and the several disburse ments, separately, and under the different Contracts entered into by you for supplying the Army with Provisions — Shewing the balance due from or to you on each distinctt Contract. In doing this you will be particular that the credits to the United States embrace all sums which you may be chargeable with, for rations saved, Commutation of forage by the Public — It may be proper to inform you that this day an additional Warrant has issued in favor of the Executor of M^r Belli your attorney on account of the Contract ending the 23^d Sept 1799 for twenty thousand Dollars — I am &^c W.S.
