Accountants Office Septem^r 27^th 1799 Sir I have received your letter of the 20 Instant enclosing 3 Receipts for retired bounty Paid to Simborn, Delaney & Kly, amounting to 12 dollars which will be placed to the credit of your account — the balance still remaining unexplained in your hands is 81 bank, which sum the Pay master General will be directed to deduct from your next Pay roll on — Sam^l B^d H.S. James O'Hara Esq^r Sir Accountants Office September 30^th 1799 Being about to take up for examination and final settlement your accounts as Contractor lodged in this Office, I have to request that you will furnish me with an exact State, listing the monies you have received, and the amount of your stores, separately, and under the different contracts entered into by you for supplying the Army with Provisions — Shewing the balance due from or to you on each quarter'd Contract. In doing this you will be particular that the credits to the United States embrace all sums which you may be chargeable with, for estates seized &c. and restitution of forfeits by the Public. It may be proper to inform you that this day an additional Warrant has issued in favor of the Treasurer of the U.
