Document 1799The keys of the medicine chests have always been delivered to the Quartermaster General with the chests and he then forwards the keys by post. Bass reports that they presently have no keys for any of the chests in store. Also there have never been any colors provided for the regiments. They do have 28 dozen sticks of port fires in store.
