I have caused all the articles ordered by you for Col Taylor's regiment to be delivered to the Quartermaster of the Regiment. Of which I should have sooner informed you but I have been Much indisposed — what shall I do with the Cartouch Boxes which yet remain shall they be packed up in boxes after inspection & sent to any publick magazines or shall they be put in store here. I have set to work the Shoe makers & they have five or six hundred pairs made they will soon complete one thousand and a [undecipherable] quantity of good thread of good leather can be procured here but They will cost ten or twelve cents the
