C.) has undergone examination the am^t thereof found correct being Two thousand Two hundred & eighty nine Dollars Sixty Cents, will accordingly be placed to the credit of your account on the Books of the Office — The Pay muster rolls for the months of August 1799 have been handed to Caleb Swan Pay master General for examination & payment to whom in future all transmissions of every account are to be made agreably to my letter in your office to that effect — The Muster roll for pay of the Troops at Troops at Fort Johnston for the month of June 1799 you will please to transmit to this Office for examination & entry — I am &^c W.
