Your account of supplies for the Troops at Hebron Connecticut, furnished between the 22 May & 29 Octr 1799 amounting to Dolls 95 & 35. has been examined & found correct; which sum you will receive from Jebt Huntington Esqr upon giving him your duplicate receipts —
The amount of your charges in the Quarter Master's a/c though improperly, have now been admitted, but as it respects the future, that you will produce for every article charged, bills or receipts of the party from whom purchased, or should the articles be furnished from your own Stock, a certificate must then be required from one or more Officers, stating that the articles are not charged above the current price. your accounts on future must be made up to the first of some Months, & the articles belonging to the Subsistence of the Army, Quartermaster & Hospital Stores take receipts under their distinct heads —
