I hand you enclosed the proceedings of a Court martial held at Fort Jay whereof Captn James Read of the 1st Regt of A &C was President, on sundry Soldiers convicted therein for Desertion &c. These proceedings are sent so far, that you may note the Sentences of the Court, as relates to the Stoppages to be made from their pay, after which you will please to return it to this Office.
