Document 1799Hodgdon notifies his father Samuel that he has arrived safely in Boston despite being quarantined in Newport for five days. He paid Mr. Turner the money forwarded by his father and Turner will write his aknowledgement on the back of this letter. Boston has never enjoyed greater health and he wishes he could hear the same from Philadelphia.
