On examining your vouchers for pay & subsistance of the Troops in the vicinity of Pittsburg to the 26th June 1799 inclusively I find that you have over paid the Officers for their subsistence which has been deducted from your account as will appear by the enclosed statement, which will govern you in making the deductions from the Officers. On reference to the Act of Congress of the 3d of March last you will find the commutant part of a ration has been reduced consequently it [undecipherable: reduces] the value of Rations.
