I have requested Captain Joseph Elliott to repair to Cecil furnace to examine and prove the Cannon cast by Mr Hughes on account of the United States. You will be pleased to deliver to Captain Elliott eighteen Barrells of powder and as many sticks of port fire as he may require, and furnish him with the means of transporting them to the place where they are intended to be used.
