September 7, 1799 Sir M^r John King the Contractor at Elizabeth Town produces the enclosed return as voucher for provisions received by him, upon which he charges 2013 Complete rations @ 16 Cents 4½ mills, and 438 extra rations of liquor at 10½ Cents as the return and receipt is not sufficiently explicit and as there are other of the same nature charged in his account I would therefore wish you to inform me whether the liquor
