On the examination of your accounts an error has been discovered in the valuation of a Note of Blankets purchased by you of Israel Pleasants &co Copy of their bills is annexed, by which you will observe that the amt of 2 pieces of Blankets (@ 107. & 105.) &c has been entered £20.4. Sterling instead of £ 10.7. making a difference of £ 10.7. 8d or at 160 5/8th advance; of £ 22.11.0 Currency of Pennsylvania, which will be audited, and the amount of the overcharge thus corrected, will be placed to your credit.
I give you this earliest information of this circumstance that you may be enabled to adjust the mistake.
