September 2^d 1799 Sir I enclose you the Copy of a letter received from Nicholas Fish Esq^r Supervisor of the Revenue New York in which was enclosed an order on me drawn by Lieu^t Draughton of the 1^st Reg^t of Infantry for 29 Dollars — I informed M^r Fish that the paper was referred to you as more properly coming within the duties of your Office, and that you would inform him when settlement with that Officer and take place — I am Y^rs W.
