York Sir You will receive from Nicholas Fish Esqr. supervisor New York the sum of one hundred eighty two Dollars & 24/100 being for a like sum paid by you to sundry artificers belonging to the Detachment of A & E under the command of Lieut. Nath. Leonard, for the difference of pay between Artificers & Privates from 1 Ap. to 30 June 1799- for which sum you will please to grant your necessary receipts. As soon as you have obtained the receipts of the above artificers they are to be forwarded to this Office I am &c W.S.
