Lamberton 19 August 1799 Sir I have your favor of the 12^th [current] covering an Invoice & Rec^t. for two Chests Medicines to be forwarded to Colonel Ogden of the 11^th U. States Regiment — I have this morning put them in a Covered Waggon from The Town of Brunswick and they will be delivered safely by to Morrow Noon M^r. Aug^t. 29 1799 Colonel Samuel Hodgdon Sir I have your favour of the 24^th Current covering Invoice of Sundries, & in obedience thereto have prepared to have them [undecipherable] immediately — On the arrival of the [undecipherable] this morning I have endeavoured to provide Board for M^r. Harris & two Clerks at 5 Dollars p^r. week [undecipherable] they come and they may stay as long as they please — I have also provided for the Labourers at by providing them a room at 5 Dollars p^r.
