As the Pay master General has opened an Office at this place and it being his duty in the first instance to liquidate all Army accounts, the Rolls were referred to him for examination and payment hence him you will accordingly be informed of the result thereof, and your future communications will be to that Office — My letter to you of the 22 Inst^t will inform you of the State of your account and the balance wanted.
