Sir,
I have drawn this day in favor of Captain Edward Butler for five hundred Dollars, Payable to him or Order After ten days Sight, for which Specie has been Received of Amos Bird, and has been Appropriated as express in the Bill in paying the expences for the Commissioners running the Cherokee line, as by the Treaty of Tellico in 1798, and having passed the Amount to the Credit of the Treasurer, request due Attention to the Bill.
