I have this day drawn on you in favor of Captain Edward Butler for One thousand dollars payable to him or order after ten days Sight; which Specie has been received therefor of Amos Birds, and has been appropriated as express in the bill to paying the Commissioners, whose duties were Continued as appointed by the Act for holding a Treaty at Tellico in 1798, and the Commissioner for Running the Cherokee Line, and having past the Amount to the Credit of the Treasurer request due attention to the Bill.
